  • KickZoo and Osiris Shoes are sponsors Ross Mould, a UK cage fighter.  Below is Rosses write up of his fight against Harvey Dines on Saturday 21st November 2009.

"Saturday 21st Nov saw the first event for CageFighter UK ran by Jake O’Hagan and Andy Cleeves, I was fighting Harvey Dines in the main event of the evening.

The training leading up to this event had been tough and intense; Harvey fights out of Gracie Barra Bath and is a very competent fighter from a respected club so I wasn't taking this lightly.

Our game plan was set and drilled, negate his shoot and avoid his take down.

Due to my fight being the main event it means there's a long wait until the fight so hands wrapped and begin warming up about an hour before,

Time to fight, The walk on was amazing, the Hall was packed and atmosphere electric, Round one went well but Harvey was closing the distance to the clinch and not shooting which threw me for a while but I got my head around it and took him down with a Judo hip toss straight into the cage, which dale would have been proud of.. Round one ended with a close round on the cards but the strong take down and some time in the clinch I was feeling confident about the round being mine.

Round two, this one didn't go quite to plan I got taken down and Harvey done well to stay in a good control position and rained down strikes, I must admit I only just done enough to stop the Ref stepping in.
Round three, After getting my ass kicked in the second I needed a good talking to which Kevin obliged, He threatened to throw in the towel if I get caught again, this wound me right up and there was no f**king way that was going to happen, I came out fired up and the crowd saw that and went mental which added even more fire up my arse, I think this didn't rest well with the opposition :).

I came out and threw him around for a bit and then went to ground Harvey got in my guard and I sunk in a triangle and he tapped, it was a massive come back and my most satisfying victory to date, the crowd reaction was unreal it was deafening.

Massive thanks to everyone who came and supported and to Kevin O'Hagan, Also Paul Bush and Matt Stone for the wicked sparring."
